Fees and Consultations
Our Fees and Consultations
At Plaza Central Medical & Aesthetics, we are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare. To allow our doctors the time to deliver thorough, personalised care, we operate as a private billing practice.
Why We Private Bill
Private billing enables our doctors to spend the time needed to understand your health concerns, provide comprehensive assessments, and develop individualised treatment plans without compromising the quality of your care.
Our focus is on delivering exceptional medical care rather than limiting consultation times.
Consultation Fees
Consultation fees vary depending on the type and length of your appointment and the services provided. Medicare rebates are available for eligible consultations and are processed electronically after your appointment, with the rebate generally paid directly into your nominated bank account.
If you are unsure about the cost of a particular consultation or procedure, our reception team will be happy to provide an estimate before your appointment.
Payment
Payment is required on the day of your consultation. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and cash. A late payment fee is applied to payment not made at appointment.
Procedures and Specialised Services
Some procedures, cosmetic treatments and specialised consultations may attract additional fees. Any out-of-pocket costs will be discussed with you before treatment, allowing you to make an informed decision about your care.
Medicare Rebates
Where applicable, Medicare rebates are available for eligible services.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Late cancellations or failure to attend may incur a cancellation fee. This allows us to offer appointment times to other patients who require medical care.
Our Commitment
We believe that investing in quality primary healthcare leads to better long-term health outcomes. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with the time, attention and expertise every patient deserves.
Below is a guide to the fees for our most commonly provided consultations and services. Please note that fees may vary depending on the complexity, duration, and nature of your consultation. If you have any questions about our fees, our reception team will be happy to assist.
Repeat Scripts and Repeat referrals: a fee is charged for lost scripts, request for repeat scripts and for repeat referrals. Please visit the dedicate page for more information.
