New Patients – Plaza Central Medical & Aesthetics, Maroochydore
At Plaza Central Medical & Aesthetics, we pride ourselves on offering a more personal, patient-centred approach to healthcare. We take the time to listen, understand your medical history, and get to know you and your family — because lasting, trusted relationships form the foundation of good medicine.
If you’re new to our clinic, we’d love to welcome you. Please phone 07 5343 7660 to book your first appointment.
All new patients are booked into an extended 30-minute consultation. This allows your doctor to take a detailed medical history, review current medications, record key health information, and address your immediate concerns in a thorough, unhurried way.
We find that most first consultations take around 30 minutes, but appointment times may vary depending on your health needs. Consultations are privately billed, and fees depend on the length and complexity of the visit. You can view our full fee schedule for more details.
We look forward to helping you begin your care journey with our dedicated team here in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
New Patient Booking & Cancellation Policy
To secure an appointment, all new patients are required to provide valid payment card details at the time of booking. No payment will be processed before your consultation.
Your card details are securely stored in our payment system, and no charge is made unless:
- A cancellation occurs within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time (a $50 late cancellation fee applies), or
 - You do not attend your appointment without notice, in which case the full consultation fee for the booked appointment will be charged.

Providing your payment details helps us manage our appointment schedule fairly and ensures availability for all patients.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our practitioners’ time and other patients who may be waiting for an appointment.
New Patient Registration Process
After booking your first appointment, you will receive a registration form via HotDoc to complete prior to your visit. This form helps us prepare for your consultation and ensure all your details are correct.
Please make sure you enter your name exactly as it appears on your Medicare card (if applicable). This ensures your medical records and Medicare claims are linked correctly.
We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for check-in and verification of your information. If you are unable to complete your HotDoc registration online, you’ll be asked to complete the required forms at reception upon arrival.
If you hold a Concession, Pension, or Healthcare Card, please bring it to your appointment so it can be added to your record.
If you would like to register as a patient but do not yet require an appointment, you are welcome to complete our new patient registration form and send it to us securely via email, or contact our reception team on 07 5343 7660 to discuss the process.
